  • Playspace Associates play an essential role at Playday. Above all, the job of the Playspace Associate is to interact positively with clients and attend to their needs. A successful Playspace Associate is self-motivated, friendly, detail-oriented and thorough.

    Role

    The Playspace Associate role is a part-time position that includes:

    -Greet and check in guests as they enter, and interact positively with clients throughout their visit

    -Process payments

    -Answer questions and provide information to customers about Playday pricing, services and events

    -Clean and maintain the play space, cafe, and bathrooms, and maintain desk duties throughout shift

    -Manage incoming phone calls

    -Check and restock any necessary inventory (bathroom, cafe, janitorial, etc.)

    -Assist with setup and cleanup for birthday parties and events, manage client safety and attend to host's needs during event rentals

    -We are looking for candidates that are flexible, creative and collaborative team players.

    Requirements:

    -1-2 years customer service experience preferred

    -Must have friendly and professional demeanor

    -Calm under pressure

    -Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

    -Candidates should be enthusiastic and team-oriented

    Part-time

    Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience

  • Summer Play Program Leaders should be enthusiastic, responsible, and engaging, to support a small-group drop-off program for young children, ages 4-6. This role focuses on creating a safe, fun, and interactive environment where kids can play, explore, and participate in open play, as well as simple crafts and group activities throughout the day.

    The Summer Play Program Leader is a seasonal, part-time position with consistent daytime hours.

    Schedule: 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM

    Duties include:

    • Supervise and engage a small group of children during indoor play

    • Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants

    • Plan and lead simple crafts and small group activities

    • Encourage imaginative play and social interaction

    • Assist with daily setup and cleanup of program materials and space

    • Communicate with families during drop-off and pick-up

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience working with young children preferred (education, childcare, camp, etc.)

    • Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor

    • Ability to manage a group of children while staying calm and organized

    • Creative, flexible, and team-oriented

    • Strong attention to detail and awareness of safety
